Meet the Author : Julie Lee
This September, Sugarloaf Korean School is pleased to welcome Julie Lee, the author of the award-winning historical novel Brother’s Keeper, for a special author talk.
Students are encouraged to read the book in advance and come prepared to participate in an engaging conversation and Q&A with Julie Lee.
This will be a wonderful opportunity for students to ask questions directly, share their thoughts about the story, and gain a deeper understanding of both the book and the history behind it.

Julie Lee is a Korean American author who earned her MFA in Children’s and Young Adult Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts.
Her debut novel, Brother’s Keeper, draws inspiration from her mother’s experience escaping North Korea and has introduced readers around the world to a deeply moving story of family, history, and hope.
